After an early start completing my chores on another warm and sunny day, taking Di to Cambridge, meeting up with her parents for coffee and taking her shopping and for a meal out. Then collecting Debbie from school and taking her horse-riding at her increasingly-quiet Offord riding venue before attending Little Paxton Village Hall Committee as their Vice Chairman and Trustee and then meeting with residents. Today was another sunny and warm day with a slightly cool breeze. I started my activities by getting up early and opening the conservatory lights, feeding and watering the fish. Then I sorted out by book money and other cheques for paying in and decided to take Di to Cambridge for the morning. My Apple Mac had been beset by a computer virus and needed the attention of my computer support friend. I dropped the machine off for their attention and then had coffee with Di and her parents at the Eden Lilley coffee shop. I spent this afternoon (or what remained of it) collecting Debbie from school and taking her horse-riding. The owner is ill with a headache-strain before her show on Sunday and is also still not riding with a bad back. The stables has become ever quieter as more owners take their ponies and horses away and I feel that the writing is on the wall with the stables destined for the developer’s ambitions. Tonight, I attended The Little Paxton Village Hall Committee as their Vice Chairman and Trustee and then had a meeting with a Dial Close resident about opposing a gymnasium planning application; and another with John Grosvenor to get him to stand in the Parish Council by-election. The news tonight was of the Labour Party adopting a policy of multi-lateral disarmament.
