I spent this afternoon on my Heronshaw planning application

Seeing the gardener who had failed to cover our recent concreting from the frost and learning of Daniel’s car problems when he also distorted two of his alloy road wheels as well as ruining the tyres! He is still searching breakers yards for replacement wheels.

I spent this afternoon on my Heronshaw planning application and in trying to make out a case that overcomes the planning objections in time for the site visit in the new year.

Even more groggy this morning as I was late awake. Once ready, I spotted the gardener here and so went out to briefed him on a number of tasks that I wanted him to do in case he was short of things. It seems that he slipped up over not protecting the last section of concrete from the frost and we may have to re-cast that. Then I went out with Daniel to get some money, put the Range Rover through a car wash and then to try and get him a pair of new wheels. As well as damaging his tyres on the roundabout, he also distorted two of his alloy road wheels!

Home for lunch having drawn a blank at Gamlingay and then I gave him some money and my car and he went off trying to find a pair of wheels at other breakers yards in Bedfordshire and Cambridge. All his efforts led to nought today and he will try again tomorrow. I spent this afternoon on my Heronshaw planning application and in trying to make out a case that overcomes the planning objections in time for the site visit in the new year. This extended into the evening, when I also caught up on some other correspondence.
