All the family except Della to the Bridge Restaurant for lunch

Della was sick overnight on our bedding and, with Sam awake at 7am, it was a tough start to the day. Some more Harnser fittings bought and installed and all the family except Della to the Bridge Restaurant for lunch. After his last walk of the day, I fed Sam four teaspoonfuls of puppy-wormer syrup on schedule.

Our first night in Harnser was eventful to say the least. We all found the new beds and room very comfortable, but Della woke us up at 4.00am complaining of a tummy ache and shivering with cold and then, once I had invited her into my sleeping bag, proceeded to be sick over this, Diana's sleeping bag and the new carpet! We felt shattered after getting everything cleaned up and back to normal and were then woken by Sam at 7.00am for good measure. He had been in his kennel for twelve hours and so we could not complain but his howling was hardly welcome. An hour later, he was fed and exercised and, Diana having driven to Wroxham to get the sleeping bags laundered, I drove and joined her to took her to Roy's.

Together we bought some things for Harnser; toothbrush and toilet roll holders, two wall mirrors, a bathroom cabinet and a new handsaw with which to trim the doors for fitting. Sam was a bit naughty in the car and I now have to watch him to ensure that he does not creep forward into the passenger seats. More dog exercising and then I took all the family except Della to the Bridge Restaurant for lunch. More dog exercising again and then the first "work" of the day trimming and planning the bathroom door to fit the aperture. After tea I took the dog for his last feed and walk for the day and fed him four teaspoonfuls of puppy-wormer syrup on schedule. Whether it was this or not I do not know but he obligingly did his business twice in the right part of the garden and then once more on his walk. I did not see him do the latter (at least I hope it was his!) until he had stopped, nosed and then rolled in it necessitating his first bath on his return home. This all done, this completed a day of mess and disruption but we are now well settled into Harnser and enjoying the facilities.
