I slept well for what was left of the night and then got up and pinned the results slips onto my own posters on the trees in the riverside garden. I was in touch with Daniel again to get him to come home this weekend so that we could deal with his car insurance company and get him re-organised. The plan was for him to catch a train this evening but, in the event, he missed it over a timetable mistake which was even more upsetting for him and infuriating for me and Angela. My idea is either to buy him an old banger or to try to get Mum to lend him dad's old car which is not being used in the garage at Stanton at the moment. Either course of action would get him mobile again and tide him over until either his car is found or he gets the money from the insurance claim.
