A night of sleet turning to rain and then clearing up to give a milder if mucky day. Some little time on paperwork and then I took Diana into town to do some chores and get some things before collecting Sally and her two girls.
Sally worked with me on Paxton delivery planning as Della had friends Cary and Susanne visiting and Debbie acted as games leader and kept them all busy. A good training session with Sam before taking Diana to Bedford to watch the latest Kevin Costner film, "Bodyguard".
Quite a busy day after another early start. At least the weather changed, a night of sleet turning to rain and then clearing up to give a milder if mucky day. Some little time on paperwork and then I took Diana into town to do some chores and get some things before collecting Sally and her two girls and bringing them here. One of my chores was to get two new power tools from Argos to replace those stolen at Anglia Square. Another was to dump several large black bags full of rubbish that had been blocking up our hall and back garden for days. Not only did we have Sally's Alex and Adelle here this morning but also Della's friend Carry and Susanne as well, but Debbie acted as games leader and kept them all busy and occupied whilst I helped Sally get together the information that she needed from my files.

Lunch when they had all gone and then fed Sam and gave him some exercise. He is now learning to go to the toilet in the right places in this garden and still does most of the initial obedience things to order. He is slimming down again and so I am increasing his food to compensate. Took Diana to Bedford this afternoon and we watched the latest Kevin Costner film, "Bodyguard", which we both enjoyed. Also popped by the mobile telephone shop to see about an emergency car telephone for Diana but we found their rates still too dear despite the recent price reductions. More dog work and then, after tea, an evening of time with the girls and reading. Della and Debbie are both experiencing their growing up problems and need reassurance. Heard back from Steve Bloom today. He is going to the London Boat Show preview day and so seems unavailable to come with me when I planned to go. I shall have to find another companion for the trip.
