As the high winds and rain seem to be prevailing throughout February, with my leg improving I was able to spend time in the comfort of the conservatory again reading the day's mail and paper whilst feeding the fish and then quite a good day at my desk, finishing off my boat folder and chasing up my colleagues on the project of securing advertisements for our FOCUS finance campaign and then laying out the adverts with Percy here early, and Derek Giles until quite late to bed
Another good night with my leg improving all the time. Down for breakfast in my pyjamas and dressing-gown and my bath again. These last few days, my bathing has become quite a social event with Diana and Della washing me and all singing the song "Washing the Dad" to the tune of the pop song "Walking the Dog". Once dressed, I went to the conservatory again and read today's mail and paper whilst feeding the fish.

It is nice to see so much of the fish and to have this amenity when you do not need to go out. Di helped me water the plants which is the only thing that I cannot do in there at the moment. The reason being the dual problems of reaching around the pond and also splashing water near my dressing! Had quite a good day at my desk, finishing off my boat folder and did quite a lot of telephoning to chase up my colleagues on the project of securing advertisements for our FOCUS finance campaign. Later, Diana had to take the girls horse-riding and they both rode well in their lessons. This afternoon and evening, I started laying out the adverts with Percy here early, and Derek Giles until quite late, helping me and contributing to the design. By the end of the evening, I had completed most of the Eaton Socon version and we were very pleased with the result. To bed a bit late as a result. Appalling weather at the moment and so I am not missing very much. The high winds and rain seem to be prevailing throughout February as well as January.
