After a good training session with Sam on a hot and humid day, having to combine campaigning with the sale of my Rolls Royce and later on did a deal on the latter.
A challenging session with our Eynesbury candidate later on before and getting tired of the physical, mental and emotional exertion that this unusual campaign is bringing.
At Diana’s session at Bodycare, she found she had lost a total of 15 inches around her waist, hips and chest.
The hot and humid weather continued without change and today was another full campaigning day. Some time with Sam who appreciated the longer walk and we went into Mill Field again and I made him steady to the hordes of rabbits around Windmill Cottage now that it is empty and unoccupied.

A full day visiting Norfolk early after breakfast and a walk for Sam in Thetford. Arrived in Horning to see Doris, Jack and Bob Howlett before edging and clearing the overgrown lawn with our powerful skimmer.
We then spent the afternoon working on The Paxton Princess; Diana hoovering and cleaning it inside as I used our pressure hose to clean off the outside.
Back to review our canvassing returns where Labour were neck-and-neck with us on the Richmond Formula and the Tories are running a poor third.
We had been toying with the idea of driving over with Diana to Norfolk for the day to get the garden done but then the weather began to look unpromising with showers early in the day.

After getting out with Sam on another fine day, the drive to Cambridge to Eadon Lilley's for lunch and agree a £600 cost to get my old Dad's car door replaced.
Then some delay as Diana decided that she needed a new bra from Boots and so a rush back to get back to set up our campaigning centre with Sandy in Eynesbury.
The initial results were very good and had us in the lead but with a long way to go.
Up and out with Sam on another fine day. We had arranged to visit Cambridge again today and to discuss the latest progress of my old Dad's car. Charles had obtained an estimate of some £600 to get the door replaced and wing straightened, and the work was already underway.

After walking Sam on a warm but muggy day, getting the handyman and gardener to apply the second coat of paint on the woodwork of the conservatory and taking a trailer of rubbish to the dump.
Then out later for our first Eynesbury Canvassing getting 11% of the second polling district canvassed and were 8% ahead of Labour on the statistics at the end of the night.
The day started sunny and clear but then got muggier as the time wore on and it was quite warm, humid and oppressive by this evening. To make it worse, the still air wafted the unpleasant smells across from the St Neots sewage works opposite.
