A cold dull drizzly day working on chores at home, then watching some televised football and finally planning how to accommodate The Paxton Princess within a new Heronshaw. I did not plan to go anywhere today and was rather inactive on a day when the intake of food was at its maximum! The chores to start the day and the rest of the morning sorting out my file on Heronshaw after the planning meeting. This afternoon, I watched televised football which started off as a dreary display of tactics hustling one another but ended up a very open and entertaining match as Nottingham Forest drew one all with Everton at Goodison Park. Tea in the lounge and the Antiques Road Show to follow it and then back to my Heronshaw file.

Working until very late on the designs and plans for the new boat-house, trying to work out how the Paxton Princess could be accommodated easily and what stages of building operation would be necessary and in what order. Have been helping Debbie quite a lot with her homework lately and getting to know her. Am pleased to find that she is not so reluctant to talk to me and coming to terms with her onset of teenage. After a dental X-Ray and examination by Mr Osborne, she has to have teeth braces fitted in a few weeks' time which is a shame. A cold dull day which ended up drizzly as well and so I was glad to be staying in.
