Managing Sam successfully as Di shops in Norwich and the girls had fun in the new roller skating rink off Vulcan Road. , Later on Di took Debbie and most of the things back to Paxton but Della stayed another night with me to go back in the morning.
When Della and I watched the film "Sister Act" in the Norwich Odeon Cinema, we suffered a car break in as a start to 1993. The weather became a little milder today but was cold again with a frost this evening.
A better night as I recouped some sleep and then stole another half hour's lay in by not setting the alarm radio. Sam managed his best night yet by not waking until just before 8.00am and so this all worked out. The long walk into Horning again and there bought a newspaper with Sam at heel. He is getting quite used to people and the shop but today had to contend with both at the same time and the owner's own dog behind the counter as well! After the chores were complete, I took Diana shopping in the Norwich sales and bought some things whilst the girls had fun in the new roller-skating rink off Vulcan Road. We bought some more crockery for the kitchen, Diana's belated present of a new telephone and a couple of pairs of new jeans for me.

All back to The Olde Tea Shoppe in Horning for a nice lunch and then I fed Sam and took him and the girls to let off steam in Horning playing field whilst Diana did some housework to leave Harnser in a tidy state. Later Diana left for home in Paxton, taking Debbie and most of the things with her but Della decided to stay another night to go back with me in the morning. I played games with her and we made tea together and Della did the washing and clearing up whilst I fed and exercised Sam. We then went for a pleasurable evening watching the film "Sister Act" in the Norwich Odeon Cinema. Though I had already seen it, Della hadn’t, and I enjoyed it the second time round.
The only thing that spoilt the occasion was the fact that my Range Rover was entered somehow, and my two electric drills taken and probably other stuff as well when I have thought about what was there. It could have been worse as they had removed the bezel from the stereo but failed to get it out and also had the relay cover off but had failed again to "hot-wire" the ignition and steal the entire car and contents. This was the same car park from which Daniel's car was stolen a while ago and it really is totally unsafe to leave a car there. The security guard was an apology of a man that I found with feet up listening to a radio. This was a pity as Della was already nervous of being alone with me and so I made as little of the incident as possible and only reported it to the police by telephone when I got back. The weather became a little milder today but was cold again with a frost this evening.
