Walking Sam and Wiggly overcame her car problems and cold and then joined me for some Wroxham shopping before we ate at Olivers and went to Carrow Road to watch Norwich Football beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1. This evening to watch "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" at the Theatre Royal
Wiggly was full of her cold and came to me after another catalogue of work and car problems but put a brave face on things and enjoyed her meal and night.

After all, she had to get to her clinic in Cambridge and still catch the train to see me which was a challenge considering her car will hardly ever start. I had to get up early to go back to Horning and walk Sam, but she forwent a lay in and had breakfast with me at the hotel.
Whilst I attended to Sam, I left Wiggly to have her hair trimmed and a look around the shops in Wroxham. Then back into Norwich where we parked again at the hotel and took the opportunity of having a look around the shops. I bought another tie and shirt and then a hat and umbrella for Wiggly.
I meant to find a clothes shop for her and visit the cane speciality place but there was not enough time as we had to eat at Oliver's and get to Carrow Road for 3.00pm. The day was cool and rainy but the match was still very good and exciting to watch.
Blackburn Rovers were visiting with their £5m forward, Chris Sutton, transferred from Norwich City in the close season and there was much to prove. In fact, it was Chris Sutton that put the visitors ahead after only five minutes had gone and Norwich City looked all at sea for the first quarter of the match; beating off assault after assault without hardly getting out of their half.
Gradually, their mid-field started winning the ball and, with Crook spraying accurate passes and Darren Eadie running down the left wing with the ball, they began mounting attacks of their own. It was from one of these that they equalised, benefiting from a favourable deflection.
The second half then went to and fro with Norwich mounting most of the attacks until their captain, Jon Newsome, scored the winner and then had to marshal the defence to resist several late attempts by Blackburn to equalise.
The journey back to Harnser to tend Sam and then out again; this time to the Theatre Royal, where we saw a good performance of "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie". The only problem was that Wiggly was suffering from quite a bad cough and all of the rushing around did not help. Straight back home and to sleep, both tired after the exertions of the day.
