More than 40 years, told day by day

A good but hot day visiting the Girls in Norfolk, roller skating in Norwich and the cinema for a Disney film in Cromer.
Then back to Eynesbury to find Wiggly upset with a council decision on parking in her road and a row over the management of the Priory Centre with Chris Howes going off half-cock.
This had been planned as another day in Norfolk with the girls and, although cooler, it was still a hot day for the journey and activities.

After starting the day affectionately with Wiggly, working and having lunch together before visiting Wiggly's friends, John and Ann, in Bedford for a meal
It was a hot and humid night but we managed to sleep as we were so tired.

It was during this month of unusual hot, humid and sultry weather that I finally ended my marriage to Diana and moved into Wiggly’s flat whilst we looked for a place to rent together.
Wiggly formally finally presented her resignation letter as her career had been mishandled by Unilever. I had been again organising some LibDem branch affairs and FOCUS advertising plans.
A busy month of social activity seeing shows with both Wiggly and Diana and also taking part in family events with the girls. These included Debbie's 16th Birthday Party and Della's 11th Birthday Party and Kimbolton Prep Swimming Gala but I was sad at not being able to see them more often.
As well as updating my investment summary and working on my Financial Summaries for the year, I was full of plans for Redgrave; discussing them with Freda and Alf accordingly, made more difficult when they turned down the chance of having a National Lottery terminal!

A Redgrave stocktaking effort on another very hot and humid day with Freda and Wiggly, walking Sam and a St Neots snooker evening with Nigel
This was the day that we had encouraged Freda to have a stock take and had offered help for them to complete it but we did not have to work to any strict timescales and so felt able to lay in a little after the hectic activities of the recent past.

We still slept all right, despite the heat and stillness of air, made love, worked on Redgrave statistics.
Later joined Wiggly for her evening's rehearsals at a local Eynesbury primary school and walked Sam.
Drinks after outside our local Wheatsheaf pub afterwards
We still slept all right, despite the heat and stillness of air, but I did wake up with a headache and went down to take two paracetamol first thing.

Organising a Norfolk family visit after leaving Sam with Wiggly. Playing Monopoly, taking the girls bowling then roller skating. Once back, an evening St Neots walk and riverside meal
I had made arrangements to drive over to Horning for 9.30am this morning and had not had the chance to discuss in detail with the girls what they wished to do for the day.
