After a fried breakfast and the a few morning chores, we took Daniel to Kimbolton for the start of his school trip to Russia even though the news today was of a curfew in Georgia after 16 die in unrest. We then took the girls to Wickstead Park for an afternoon of unlimited rides where I got bored and naughtily distracted before home for a satisfactory check on our flagboards and then an evening ordering my affairs. As a result of the Russia nuclear submarine sinking, we now know that 27 of the 69 crew died but ‘they say’ that the two nuclear weapons and propulsion system are supposed to be safe.
We had a lay in this morning and then I had to hurry with my shower and shave as my fried breakfast was soon ready. I did a few chores in my conservatory and with my birds and then we set off to take Daniel to Kimbolton for the start of his week’s holiday to Russia. After this, we went on to Wickstead Park to spend the afternoon and the girls enjoyed lots of the rides with an unlimited armband on. I found the occasion something of a bore, as there is little for adults to do, apart from supervising the children. I was reduced to gazing at a young lady with a clinging dress and what must have been a ‘G’-string on underneath as there were no pantie lines.

Home at teatime and then phone calls this evening organising our next week’s campaigning. No trouble at all with our flag boards last night or today. It may be that we have seen off the vandals last year and they’re used to seeing the boards now. This evening, I could only order my affairs and clear the desk but at least I have tomorrow working at home before canvassing in the evening. News tonight is of the Soviet bloc imposing a curfew in Georgia after 16 die in unrest. As a result of the Russia nuclear submarine sinking, we now know that 27 of the 69 crew died. They say that the two nuclear torpedoes on board can withstand deep water immersion and that the nuclear propulsion system was shut down before the sinking.
