As I achieved quite a lot last night, I did not really mind as it meant I could have breakfast with the entire family. Then to load up the Range Rover with tools, equipment and supplies so as to get on my way at 8.30am. The roads were not too bad and I avoided the road-works on the Norwich By-pass by driving right across the centre of this city. It meant that I could drop in on a cellular telephone supplier where I bought an amplifying aerial and spare battery for the Mitsubishi which I had been meaning to get for some time.

On to Heronshaw where I found the old place much as I had left it. It was approaching midday by now and so I made myself a drink and snack as soon as I had unloaded and before starting work. This afternoon and evening, I managed to make a good start on re-varnishing the wooden parts of the Paxton Princess and, because of the unusual wind direction, I also had a good bonfire and cleared quite a lot of my rubbish pile. In late, tired and smoky and so I relaxed by having a bath and washing my hair before using my portable computer to update this last two days' journal.
