Starting the difficult job of realising the agreed sale price of my late parents' mobile home

To Neots and Bedford to start the paperwork for administrating my late Mother’s estate. Starting the difficult job of realising the agreed sale price of my late parents' mobile home. Also helping my gardener after his car was stolen and the steering column lock levered off

Sam was much better behaved today, but I was watching him like a hawk and trying hard to train him to the stop whistle. Another depressing day and the weather did not help - even more windy this time and just as cold as yesterday. I found time to talk to the gardener and discovered the poor chap had his car stolen in Bedford. The driver’s window had been smashed, the steering column lock levered off and, because the car was technically immobile, the police had used a recovery service to take the car to Elstow Storage Depot. I completed some more paperwork and then took him over to Bedford, but we could not collect it and he was left without a car.

I had arranged to make Mum's Prudential Insurance Claim at the Bedford office to make good use of our labour and later posted another lot of claims and letters on Mum's behalf. I also decided to open an executors account with the St Neots Norwich and Peterborough earlier to pay in all of the money that I realised from Mum's estate. I have now started the difficult job of realising the agreed sale price of her mobile home and hope that this can be done within the next three months.
