Time with the children and lots of errands with them as Daniel was home and Debbie ended her school term.
Della joined me for a long walk for Sam after which I played tennis on the riverside lawn with the children.

Yesterday was the end of school term for Della and today was Debbie's turn as Sam and I first accompanied her to the bus stop. A long walk for Sam who does not seem so concerned about food in the morning these days but is much more desperate in the evening. I will soon try to put him onto a single meal a day to be eaten in the evening. Diana went of to her "Slimming" clinic this morning and I stayed at home and kept Della company. For some time she was content to practice playing the piano but then I let her interrupt my work on the computer and let her play computer games with me.

Daniel had come back late last night and woke up in time to join us for lunch once Diana was back to make it. Took Debbie to the Skin Clinic at Eaton Socon this afternoon and Della into St Neots whilst she was in there. Then bought some rump steak from Anderson's for this evening's meal but we found it rather tough. Another long walk for Sam - and this time Della joined me, and we gave him some water retrieves in the gravel pits until the anglers objected. Then I hoped to take Diana out to the cinema but she did not fancy any of the films and so I stayed in and played tennis on the riverside lawn with the children instead.
