A day that started foggy but cleared to be quite bright and not too cold and so I opted to do some maintenance work on The Hayling View.
Out with Diana and the girls later to the St Neots Market Square fair for which and Radio Chiltern was conducting a live broadcast for the Christmas Lights
Poor Daniel was not feeling very well this morning but still went to work and lasted the day satisfactorily. I got going and out with the dog in good time and back to the bus stop to see the girls off to school for the second day running. It started foggy but cleared to be quite bright and not too cold and so I opted to do some maintenance work on The Hayling View during the day. I was taking off and trimming the playroom doors so that they actually fitted for the first time since we had the new carpet fitted.

Using the active aerial and tuning to Northwood, I had much more success with the facsimile reception. I had sequences of charts and forecasts in good detail and quality to be able to monitor progress over the next few days. Progress also with the property search as first Julian Paine and then PPMS took a look at 15 Booth Way; preparing the way for a low cash offer with some little work necessary to get the place ready for renting if the offer is accepted. Out with Diana and the girls this evening to St Neots Market Square where a fair was installed, and Radio Chiltern were conducting a live broadcast for the ceremony of the Christmas Lights.
The main attraction was a very tall crane giving chances for brave participants to try "bungie" jumping. With rubber ropes fixed to a safety harness, they jump off of a high platform and bounce upside down until lowered to the ground again. I let the girls have a few rides on other things but not the "bungie" and we still got back for the televised Rugby League Match. It was good to see St Neots so full of people and the campaigns to promote the town going so well under the guidance of my Liberal Democrat political colleagues who are now in control of The Town Council due to my campaigning efforts.
