On a milder but showery day, walking the girls to the school bus stop with Sam and then catching up with paperwork and monitoring the weather.
Steven Bloom visited and we stayed up late with Daniel and Jason working on the computers.
The temperatures were up considerably today but not before I got very cold in the night and had to adjust the bedclothes. Up and out earlier than of late and I actually managed to get Sam toileted in time to join the girls at the bus stop. A long walk back via the old Great North Road and the playing field and then a chance to catch the gardener and to chat to him about not having seen so much of him lately. He had no real reason and just muttered on about "getting old" and so I deduce that he just did not fancy coming in on those mornings, which is a problem.

Much of the day catching up on paperwork and continuing with my facsimile monitoring. I am gradually beginning to understand what the weather charts mean by watching them develop day by day. With Daniel, I am developing a preferred configuration for a new workstation that will be much cheaper than updating my portable. I found my active radio aerial stored away and so went up the long ladder and fixed it on the eaves so as to be able to try improving our reception. Had a visit from Steven Bloom today and he brought along his new monochrome lap-top by arrangement for us to see. Good to see the old boy finding his feet again but he is getting rather too deeply immersed in his work. Was up late with him, Daniel and Jason working on the computers. Also worked on the task of trying to find the third property for the children's trusts today and made some progress. It was much milder today but showery.
