On by far the mildest day of the week so far which was still chilly and uncomfortable, we the girls travel to Disneyland by themselves today.
We tried to catch the two-hour sightseeing tour of the city but were just too late at the Paris Vision and Citirama bus station but we ended up at "Pont Neuf" where there were one-hour boat trips around the Isle de Paris that gave us good views without too much expense.
To Torcy to do our shopping alone. for the cookies, crisps and cake that I had bought at very good prices as an alternative to the costly park fare
A long lay in again and casual breakfast amongst the confusion of the "Chuck Wagon" eating melee. We decided to let the girls travel to Disneyland by themselves today and we gave them a room card/key to meet them back in the hotel later. Diana and I got our 90FF Formule 1 tickets for the day and went off to Paris.

We had a nice and cheap lunch of the sandwich and pudding de jour at one of the many lunch places at Le Louvre where it seems most of Paris also take their light lunches. We discussed our plans and opted to catch the two-hour sightseeing tour of the city but were just too late at the Paris Vision and Citirama bus stations.
Grumpily across the city, trying to find where the Bateaux Mouches set off but, after Diana became lost, I took over the map and we ended up at "Pont Neuf" where there were one-hour boat trips around the Isle de Paris that gave us good views without too much expense. The water was unusually high which meant that some of the normal tour was inaccessible due to the low bridges near to the historic church.
A rush to get back by train until I decided to let Diana go straight back to meet the girls whilst I got of at Torcy to do our shopping alone. By the time I got back, the girls were more than ready for the cookies, crisps and cake that I had bought at very good prices as an alternative to the costly park fare. With this picnic in our hotel room, we also started the Asterix jigsaw puzzle before we set off for the evening to the EuroDisney park. The park was open for once this evening and we saw the lit parade as the highlight and then had some more rides in the picturesque setting.
EuroDisney has been attractively set out and planted but better weather is a must for enjoying this properly. Up until late with Della as my main helper, getting more of the jigsaw done and starting to panic that we would not be able to finish it before it was time to go in the morning. It was by far the mildest day of the week so far but still chilly and uncomfortable.
