A day of inexplicable sickness and fever with a raging headache, a temperature of 100F+, near-paralyzed limbs and felt hot and then cold in consequence.
I had an uncomfortable night as I was at once both burning up, having stomach discomfort and also suffering from a headache and aching legs.

Of course, I had ended yesterday with a throat sore from chanting and legs achy from walking so far and, what with all of the changing and trying things on in the shops and antics with Wiggly in the car, I could not work out whether this was to blame as I had been overdoing it, or whether I had caught anything.
I kept feeling too hot and then too cold, then thirsty and could not get out of bed in the morning. Luckily, I had Debbie to walk Sam for me at £1 a time and so he was kept happy, and I could stay in bed all day. Even so, I could not get comfortable, had a raging headache, a temperature of 100F+, near-paralyzed limbs and felt hot and then cold in consequence.
No breakfast, nor any lunch but by teatime I managed to get up and lay in the lounge to first watch a football match and then have a bite of tea with the family and their guests. A very short call to Wiggly from my office when the others were watching The Simpsons.
Then a cleansing bath before retiring to bed for the evening, having already been sleeping for most of the day. Altogether a very nasty experience and without any explanation that I could see at the time as there were no other obvious 'flu symptoms.
