A lay in and rest for a change as a recovery day before walking Sam and then taking Diana shopping in Peterborough. This evening I studied what it would take to swap over to the charts and software of ICS
I had left a note for Diana not to wake me up this morning and so it was well after 9.00am before I had washed, dressed and got out with Sam. The snow was still everywhere which made walking difficult, but it was a new experience for him and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a young dove strutting about and had to put it back up on the dovecote twice. The floodwater was still up and over the road at the paper-mill which all made rather a sorry scene. Once back and recovered, I had to return a number of telephone calls and check the mail before Diana took me out to Peterborough.
We stopped off at the pet shop in Yaxley to get some new bedding for Sam and then drove on to the town centre where Diana exchanged an unwanted toy at "Toys 'R US" and I visited Pet City and looked at different types of dog foods. Lunch at the Little Chef on the way back and then it was time to take Sam out again!
This evening, I went through my papers from the boat show and found out what it would take to swap over to the charts and software of ICS. Then my journal for these last two days before bed.
