I went home to find the house in disarray but with Diana having visited the doctor for some antibiotic

After staying away with Wiggly and  shopping for plants and pots, I dropped her home and planned some canvassing, I went home to find the house in disarray but with Diana having visited the doctor for some antibiotic and the daughters having slept in to recover from jetlag.  The evening copying across and updating my journal entries

A nice breakfast in the hotel restaurant and then having checked out, we took Sam for another walk up a bridle path where many other handlers were walking their dogs and Sam was by far the better trained of them.

Wiggly fancied a visit to some superstores and we therefore drove to some units nearby. The gardening and decorating sections fascinated her as she first looked at wallpapers and then chose two attractive flower pots and and a "Mother-in-Law's Tounge" plant for me to buy her.

She took turns in driving us back and I did some more work in the car before we arrived. I took Sam for another run at Coneygeare whilst she got her plants organised and then I allowed Sam in her hall on a blanket whilst I got some more election work done with her.

We checked out her EARS computer, prepared some proxy vote forms and then lists of past helpers that might help with leaflet deliveries. More work also planning our Monday canvassing session.

Eventually time for me to leave for my family tea and for her to do some things before her evening play rehearsals. We still went out in my car and delivered the proxy forms to a dozen addresses and then we parted sweetly until the next day.

Home to find the house in some disarray but at least Diana's trip to the doctor had resulted in her getting some antibiotics to make her throat and chest better. The girls had been in bed all morning recovering from their jetlag and loss of sleep and so I had not missed much.

Debbie had her friend Charlotte to stay here with her and Della had Catherine round later.

I walked Sam briefly and then joined the family in the lounge for tea whilst watching the Simpsons.

The evening copying across and updating my journal entries from the last couple of week's pocket computer notes but then to bed around 10.30pm, tired from the efforts.
