After a peaceful and rewarding night, a cooler and cloudier with a northerly breeze and light drizzle, strimming the garden and cleaning The Paxton Princess.

Out later to see the good British film, Clockwise Mice all about the sterling efforts of a band of dedicated teachers in a Special Needs School for disturbed children.

The night was very peaceful and quiet, we slept well and made love beautifully so that it was after 10.30am before we got up and walked Sam; using the Harnser shower and food for breakfast.

It was a pity that, after all of the sunny and warm weather we had recently, it had become cool and cloudy with a northerly breeze in North Norfolk and a light drizzle had even started to act as a real dampener.

I opted to embark upon the strimming of the garden to fell the giant weeds that had been left this last month or two Wiggly was not too pleased with this but the job had to be done.

After a few other chores, Wiggly then started on the job of cleaning off the boat; first dusting it off whilst I was still busy, then using the pressure hose to clean off the hull and super-structure once I had got it out and running for her.

The end result was a much cleaner boat which we pulled back into the boatshed for the night. A rush to go shopping at the end of the afternoon as Wiggly had failed to replace our boat kettle on her morning foray and the first few places we tried did not sell them when we eventually got out to try and find one.

In the end, we bought a splendid chrome-covered copper kettle, especially designed for use on a Calor stove but not having a steam whistle as its only disadvantage.

Back after some more shopping in Roy's and to walk Sam and for tea of pizza and then the evening drive into Norwich where we saw the good British film, Clockwise Mice all about the sterling efforts of a band of dedicated teachers in a Special Needs School for disturbed children.

Home via a pub for a drink and then to our bunk in The Paxton Princess, dog tired after an exhausting day.
