Another hot and sunny day queuing at the Sea World Park in San Diego. The common theme was the sea and its creatures, including sharks, penguins, otters and all types of mammals.
They had dolphins by the dozen, and groups of pilot and killer whales all performing as they do not believe in doing things by halves!
This was a day at Sea World, San Diego, and another hot and sunny one; the hottest one we had so far.

First, we had a slight lay in and went through our morning routine, ending up with breakfast at the nearby "Ricky's" restaurant and then headed out past San Diego Airport to the Sea World Park.
The trouble was that, at this time of year, the attraction only opened up at 10.00am and so we had arrived an hour early and had to wait. Eventually in and a day of trudging around, queueing, and sitting in the hot sun watching a variety of shows.

We did the right thing by covering ourselves in our large sun hats and drinking bags of water but, even so, I was still quite affected by the sun and heat and very tired by the evening. It must have been in the 80'sF and this was more than enough for me.
We stopped off at a Ranch family restaurant after and had a nice meal. Once back at the hotel, I took advice from reception and we set off again; this time trying to find somewhere to change our pounds sterling into dollars but we had been misinformed and visited two dispersed shopping centres in vein. Very tired to bed.
