I was expecting a challenge to get out early this morning but I awoke at 6.30am and was able to get quickly shaved, dressed and out with Sam in time to get over the river bridge before it was closed for roadworks at 7.00am.

This before going home to put up the Christmas Lights and welcome Diana for a meal at McDonalds and then on to the cinema to see "Miracle on 42nd Street"; a remake of the old film.
