More than 40 years, told day by day

Worrying news of Nigel's shooting incident being the subject of TV news broadcasts and his subsequent arrest at a time when I was planning to spend it alone. Once Nigel was back, I had a good chat with him and helped him unwind and agreed that I would stay overnight, Wiggly and Diana to say so who both took the news badly but I had decided that I would be apart from them for a day or two.
A lay in after a sound night, interrupted only by getting some medicine for Wiggly's cough and sore throat.

I walked Sam with Diana this morning and evening , who is sticking to me like glue. Still managed to get away for the Liberal Democrat Jumble Sale and to Wiggly's afterwards but us both worried about Diana.

A gloriously sunny day for some very good election day organisation. Overcoming computer problems, we managed to win the Eynesbury and Eaton Socon seats, to exclude the Tories, Labour and Ross McKay's breakaways. Diana had left her congratulations in the form of a bouquet and message in the kitchen
