Successful day chairing a good Comart Board Meeting that reviewed a record month and approved a 3-year plan, writing up the minutes and then studying the UEH option, it being the final obstacle to my company sale
Up early and, after breakfast, to the office arriving a half hour early to prepare my papers for today’s Comart Board Meeting. A very heavy mail to sort through and then a panic to sign the field payroll before the start of the meeting at 10.30am A good meeting, progressing the Comart Computers 3 year plan, 1984/5 Budget, and reviewing the results of our record March and the actions that went by the board as a result.
We finish the meeting late at 5.45 and after I settle down to discuss Byte Shop problems with Peter King before a long evenings work at my desk, clearing paperwork, studying the UEH option closely and then finally writing up the Comart Board Minutes with all the detailed information they contained. Home late at 11.00pm and a chicken salad dinner before finally to sleep at 12.30am Although I had missed the opportunity of a couple of hours sleep, I was more than pleased with the work done as a result. The weather continues fine and warm but with the coolish breeze. Forecasts are beginning to predict a long hot summer – let’s hope they are right.
