It started cold today but got milder later as Debbie came home from school with very good exam results. Then to Little Paxton Village Hall November Fayre in the rain with a good turnout and much produce sold to raise funds. I let Diana take the girls shopping in St Neots whilst I watched The Wallabies beat Wales at Rugby Union.
It started cold today but got milder as the day went on. I lay in a long time after our late night and then started the day gingerly, being both tired and having a bit of a hangover. I did not achieve a great deal this morning as a result though I did start clearing out the gutters but had to give up when the rain started. I also managed to stalk and shoot one collared dove stealing seed from the bird-table. Once Debbie had come home from school, we took her and Della to The Happy Eater for lunch. Debbie had the good news that she was third in her Physics exam and this after being first in English Literature and third in English Language. She is doing well at school.

A little time before my rugby football came on the TV and so we went direct to the village hall for The November Fayre. It was raining by now but there was a good turn out of villagers come to see the range of stalls and produce that was being sold and raffled by village organisations. We did our bit and spent lots of money and then I let Diana take the girls shopping in St Neots whilst I watched The Wallabies beat Wales at Rugby Union. It was an exciting match, and the Welsh held the Aussies for much of the time but then lost by a few tries. Tea and then an evening resting, relaxing, and watching two good films on the TV. We went to bed early to catch up on sleep.
