I lit an open log fire to warm just my room and cheer me up on a particular drab and dreary day and I roasted some chestnuts over it after tea and Debbie enjoyed more of them as well. I managed to archive some of my November journal today and made arrangements to view a couple of possible investment properties and to take my Discovery in to Norwich for its 18,000 mile service next week. I have survived the last couple of days of Diana's illness and look forward to getting back to our normal routine.
