Valentines Day which I marked with Diana away from the children this morning after walking Sam and then taking Diana and the girls to Wroxham Barns and then tea at the Horning Old Tea Shoppe. A better day training Sam and an enjoyable family game of Monopoly later.
I had a Valentine Card with an "I Love You" message on it and I took my Valentine into the bathroom (to get away from the children) and made love to her, collecting the kiss that was on the card. Out with the dog this morning again, walking him up the sawdust road of Crabbetts Marsh; but this time keeping a very close eye on him in case he ran off again. Then I left him at Harnser and took the girls to Wroxham Barns on what proved to be a chillier day than of late. At least it remained dry and free from rain whilst Diana and I looked around the craft shops and the girls went into the Junior Farm to see the newly born Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Piglets and all else!

We did not buy very much from the craft shops but then I got a birdwatching set and book for Della for her new hobby. Lunch of roast beef in the restaurant and then back to feed Sam his lunch. He was quite desperate by this time and took some consoling. I think that Jack keeps coming round and disturbing him when we are out and when I am not there to settle him down again. In the afternoon, we all went for a very long walk around Crabbetts Marsh road and then into Horning where I got the family some refreshments at The Old Tea Shoppe. Even Sam was able to drink from the public dog's bowl in the open-air garden and the family did not seem to mind having the drinks outside.
Even though the weather was quite cold, we had warmed ourselves up with our long walk. Sam was quite good throughout and was the better for being in such close contact with the family with both Diana and Debbie walking him on the lead. We all played Monopoly together this evening and, although I missed much of the game through walking Sam, I won with help from Della. Poor Debbie plays so hard but loses so badly. A chaffinch was the first bird at our new bird table, and he stayed quite a long while.
