On a muggy but mainly dry day with odd showers, a long walk with Sam to settle him down and then finishing the painting of the trailer base as the girls helped with weeding.
After tea, we all went for a long walk to Horning Playing Field where we played with Della's shuttlecock set before I resumed work.
This was a day that I spent in Horning, but the family also went to Wroxham to the library and to do some shopping. Sam was rather poor again today, still suffering from his loose motions and whining to come out of his kennel from an early hour. I was therefore up at 6.30am and out with him by 7.00am. A long walk around the marshes where we met the Yellow Labrador and owners again. Sam played and tempted the young dog to plunge into the mud again so that it ended up black all over apart from its head and neck which came as a shock to its owners!

Then into the village with him to buy a carton of milk and Eastern Daily Press before back to Harnser for breakfast. The morning finishing the painting of the trailer frame with Della whilst Debbie did some weeding for me and then I took the family over to The Olde Tea Shoppe for a nice slimming lunch. I have made a deal with Diana so that I will take her out for as many meals as she wants if we both eat slimming food. This afternoon on my own cutting up floorboard off-cuts to size for the trailer base and I let Sam come and sit in the garage for company.
After tea, we all went for a long walk to Horning Playing Field where we played with Della's shuttlecock set and Sam ran free for a while when we had finished. The girls watched a video this evening as I carried on with the trailer so that I now know what method and materials I am going to use to finish it. The day was not quite so muggy but mainly dry with some showers.
