"The Super Mario Brothers".

Working with Daniel on my old trailer at Harnser on a dull, humid and showery day beforr enjoying lunch at The New Inn and then getting Dad's old Escort MOT tested. Diana.

Then arrived with the girls as Daniel left for home and we took them to Cromer cinema to see "The Super Mario Brothers". The Land Rover Discovery was faltering during the journey with loss of power

Another very warm, dull and humid day with showers of rain breaking up the dullness and then some short spells of very hot sun. Sam was whining from 7.30am onwards, disturbing both Daniel and me, and I had to take him for another long run to start the day. Back for breakfast and Daniel was reluctant to get up but did so in the end. Then we both worked outside; I completed the tightening of the header beam nuts, closing the gap in the stair-well, whilst Daniel started on renovating the trailer.

I gave him a hand and it was soon apparent that we needed a disk cutter after all and so I sent him over to Roys DIY to buy one. Once we had got this, we soon had the old bolts cut out and planks removed with me working the cutter and Daniel doing the physical stuff. The whole morning getting the frame sanded off and ready for further attention and then we drove off to The New Inn for lunch before driving into Wroxham afterwards. The Escort into Broadland Motors for its attention and MOT and then some more shopping for materials before coming back. Soon, Diana arrived with the girls and all her luggage and we got her settled before Daniel set off in her car for home; leaving the Escort for us as a second car.

Just time to feed and walk the dog before we set off for Cromer, where Debbie had telephoned to book tickets for "The Super Mario Brothers", a film at Cromer Regal cinema. We enjoyed this but it was a bit frightening for Della. Strange to find that the Land Rover Discovery was faltering during the journey with loss of power and I could only assume that the loss of the fuel cap was affecting the tank venting and creating a vacuum via the safety flap valve.
