A recovery day at home walking Sam and there was the cleaner as well as the gardener and handyman to see and then I chose to go back to bed and rest for a couple of hours, dozing and catching up on much-needed rest..
Daniel had evidently had quite an event on Sunday night with the neighbours complaining and there were empty bottles everywhere which the cleaner had to get rid of before Diana arrived.

Daniel had evidently had quite an event on Sunday night with the neighbours complaining to a girl guest at 4.00am about the open windows, and noise of the music and TV and there were empty bottles everywhere which the cleaner had to get rid of before Diana arrived.
She telephoned before leaving Norfolk for advice on switching off the water and power and then I chose to go back to bed and rest for a couple of hours, dozing and catching up on much-needed rest. I got up at lunch-time and ate a little food and then welcomed Diana and Della back from their journey before taking the dog out.
I washed and shaved after tea to revive myself and then set off for my evening out with Nigel as the alibi when in fact I was going round as originally arranged to see Wiggly. I went early and caught her just on her way to bed for a rest and she was only wearing her silk dressing gown when she greeted me.
We were both tired after the night together and so I made us a pot of tea as she received a call from her mother and then we sat and chatted for a while until she got dressed. There then followed a very platonic session as I she helped me bring my tools in and I did a number of practical jobs that she needed doing.
A house number fitted, some old cable runs taken out, a bead curtain put up and then a window lock eased. All very mundane stuff but she was delighted and would have thanked me longer in kind and was keen on doing so but I sensed that we were both tired and should get an early night and thus left.
