Family cinema evening in out in Bedford to see "Never Ending Story III"

Colds were predominating as I opted against shooting due to the freezing fog.

Some time buying Christmas drinks then checking on Nigel and Ashley before a Christmas Lunch farewell for Wiggly.

Then a family cinema evening out in Bedford watching to see "Never Ending Story III".

I had somehow contracted another head cold which made me a little restless at first but then I slept very soundly, and Diana had to wake me with my morning tea.

The girls were still sound asleep, but I washed my hair, shaved and had a shower in time to have breakfast with Diana.

She then went off to town for some last-minute Waitrose shopping whilst I first walked Sam and then thought about doing some pigeon shooting opposite, but the freezing fog had not relented and the visibility was still too bad.

A call to Nigel and then along to see him later and then after to collect Wiggly from work for a Christmas Lunch together. She looked fetching in her smart suit that I had bought her and was wearing her ring and had brought a present for me in the form of a nice new watch.

We drove off for lunch and enjoyed it together; also making some plans for contacting each other over Christmas and for the new year. Once I took her back to work after a 135min lunch hour(!), I could come home via the Off License to buy our drinks for the Christmas parties.

Looking back on this morning, Nigel seemed to be in even more trouble and even less organised than usual.

Poor Ashley was complaining about having to do all of his Christmas Shopping, present wrapping and card writing, he was suffering from a huge cold, he had horrendous business problems with MiPet and his poor dog, Sally, had died the day before!

Time later this afternoon to walk Sam again in the darkening icy gloom and then over to see Wiggly by prior arrangement and with permission to collect the computer.

The idea was to copy off the games and to remove certain options so that the computer could be returned to her in the New Year to keep for a price of £300. She was not there when I arrived, but I let myself in, made some tea, disconnected her computer and studied the latest layout design she had created for Heronshaw which was quite good.

Once she returned, I took some more photographs and left her with the film and, after saying our sad farewells for the following few days' absence, we parted.

Home in time for tea with the computer and then an evening trip with the girls to the cinema in Bedford to see "Never Ending Story III". Home late, my journal and to bed.
