Gale force winds in the evening as I struggled with purchases and updated my financial summaries and got Daniel’s help with computer issues. Better sessions with Sam today retrieving more gently
The strong winds had died down somewhat by this morning but picked up again in the evening and it sounded as if the windows were going to burst in! A day at home for me as I struggled with telephone calls to progress my computer equipment orders and purchase of Monarch Road.

Then the even tougher task of updating my financial summaries on the computer; completing the income summaries by the end of the day. Daniel's assistance in re-commissioning the network was welcome after it had faltered in recent days and he found, as I expected, that it was a conflict of memory addressing following some action he had taken. He also helped me install the new tape streamer on the 4/86 and it ended up working well but then seemed to stop the network again!
I was out with Sam for another two good walks today. His retrieving in water and by jumping over fences are both excellent and, following more tutoring, he did not seem to be mouthing the dummies so badly. Daniel fitted new loudspeakers in place of the old ones in his car and was still very pleased with it.
