After putting my Discovery in for an electrical repair, I just had time to go home to set mole traps before Daniel visited me to buy his Rover 825i car before he took Dawn roller skating.
The Lord Chief Justice and The House of Lords oppose the government over its planned reforms to the criminal justice system and magistracy.
My visit to Norfolk had been planned to put the Discovery in for the repair of its electrical fault and the rest of these three days planned round it to use the time to work at Horning. The Queen suffered a fall from her horse after it stumbled at Sandringham yesterday and has broken her left wrist.
The normal Sunday lay-in and then out with Sam who does not recognise the Sabbath and wants walking just the same. The weather was getting colder and so I excused him any water retrieves this morning, but still put him through some special obedience work and was pleased with the result. His long-drops in particular are coming along and he executed his best point on a pheasant yet and the only real one since the grouse in Scotland.
