On a dry and sunny but cooler day, deciding to advertise my Rolls Royce for sale, training for Sam further stalking and pointing a rabbit and effecting our own repair to the dishwasher.
This evening, taking Di to the cinema in Bedford to see the film "Naked Gun 331/2 - The final Insult" which was an incredibly silly film, but she liked it
Daniel had brought Jason round last night and I agreed that he could borrow my late Dad's car. With the drive free for the first time in ages, I opened up the garage and put batteries in both the Rolls Royce and Reliant on charge.

The Rolls seemed pretty dead still after a while and I may need to replace the battery. It is time I sold this car which we seldom use and just takes up space. Some time discussing this prospect with Daniel (who dropped home at lunch time) and Nigel (who I called to discuss it) and I then decided to advertise the car in Exchange & Mart and to get the car past its MOT and a minor service in the meantime.
Earlier in the day, I was all set to take Sam out for his run when Pete arrived and wanted to talk about erecting the fence. I put him onto Di about the dish-washing machine whilst I was out and then helped him effect the repair when I got back. We were able to get a new length of hose from St Neots, together with some junctions, and he fitted this and also replaced a length of kick-board in the kitchen at the same time.
If we had waited for Hoover to come back, we would have had the appliance out of action for much longer! We effected a third repair today as I also got my watch lens replaced so that I can now actually read the day and date! two good walks with Sam, mainly on dummy training and dropping him to shot.
He stalked and pointed a rabbit very nicely this evening as well. Fed up with staying in day after day, I took Di to the cinema in Bedford this evening to see the film "Naked Gun 331/2 - The final Insult" which was an incredibly silly film, but she liked it. The weather still dry and sunny but with much more breeze and a little cooler.
