Clearing out the garage for my Rolls Royce to be stored after my morning dog walk with Sam before over to Hilton to join the colleagues celebrating the recent by-election success.
With Derek's help, we circulated with a clipboard and obtained a long list of helpers for Wiggly's forthcoming campaign.
The latest problem is Ross McKay who had seen the Town Crier letter from Michael Pope and Sandy Giles criticising him and wanted them to retract it publicly or get his response.
A lay in and rest for the first time in a while and then up to shower before breakfast. Out with Sam on a walk across the common in weather that was quite warm but overcast and windy. Just a few retrieves, some obedience work and a few chance encounters with other dogs.

After his attacks, he is quite nervous and worried about his relationship to other dogs and needs reassurance before he approaches them. We helped some anglers lost from Mill Meadow on their way to Wray House. Once back, I borrowed Daniel's keys, moved his car and then got the Discovery in the drive to give it a good going over.
Off came the waterproof seat covers, out went all of the rubbish and then the rest of the time was spent cleaning and wiping everything to make the inside pleasant again after its wet weather and dog dormitory use. Next came the outer garage which Daniel and I cleared out to give proper space for two cars again.
Lunch intervened and Diana served another nice meal of roast chicken and all of the trimmings which the whole family (and Daniel's friend Gary) enjoyed. A celebration also of Father's Day and some small presents and cards from the kids. I had hoped to have a look at the Reliant but time did not allow but at least the Rolls Royce can now be put into the garage so that I can get to it.
Another run for Sam and much the same pattern of work and play for him with the addition of a water retrieve as the anglers had gone home by this time. A light tea with the family and then a wash and shave before changing to drive over to Hilton to join the colleagues celebrating the recent by-election success.
I was pleased to see the turnout and the presence of some people from the St Neots Branch to join in. With Derek's help, we circulated with a clipboard and obtained a long list of helpers for Wiggly's forthcoming campaign. Home to update today's journal, exchange telephone calls with Terry Clough and then receive Wiggly briefly for her to collect her data for tomorrow's election Focus layout session.
