Shopping in Norwich for clothes to keep at Wiggly’s and then another evening shooting many rabbits and hares with Jim before home to Paxton at midnight and, after drying off and cleaning my rifle, got to bed soon after.
Di was again unable to do her outside work today because of the rain and so went to Bedford instead and then had Chrisula and family over for tea.
I had intended to get out into the garden to do some outside work, but the night had been very wet and miserable and so, having walked Sam and settled him down, I drove into Norwich instead and did some shopping.

I sought out my newly-found men's outfitters again and this time bought some more socks, shirts and ties and a set of jacket and trousers with robe which I shall now keep at Wiggly's house in Eynesbury.
A number of other chores, including getting the replacement set of car keys from Mann Egerton (which cost a princely £40!) until I ended up getting back late to Ropes Hill Dyke in order to meet Mr Page, another road contractor.
With the bad weather, he was there too and we walked the road in the pouring rain so that he can now give me an alternative quote to that we already have from May Gurney. Then I had a quick tea before driving over to Jim again for a late evening rabbit shoot.
