The weekend away with Wiggly after working on the election campaign whilst getting help and  the latest version of EARS 6.53 election software by email

I slept well after the activities of yesterday and was up early as a result.

Wiggly was upset at me for having to be back for lunch but there was nothing else I could do.

She drove for the journey, whilst I made my diary notes and some telephone calls. I set myself the task of reviewing the election arrangements for the whole area and hit on the idea of asking Percy to help staff the villages campaign.

He also talks to Neil Campbell to explain the decision about us not targeting Gransden and will keep in close contact with him to ensure that he will stay in place as the candidate for the next election and build up the delivery network and organisation of the ward.

Terry Clough was now back and helping John Grosvenor who could not be working harder to win the Staughton ward. Peter Pullen in computer difficulties which would need sorting out.

Sally and Derek are working hard and Sandie now had the help that she needed after she and Derek took my advice and approached new helpers with some success.

Wiggly struggled over getting help with Flagboards and I had to do it myself in the end. She stomped around and loses heart, but I bring her round. Nearly all the deliveries are done now.

On the computer front, I get the latest version of EARS 6.53 by email and exchange telephone calls from the authors about how to implement it. After loading the software up, it seemed to have upgraded satisfactorily.

Very late to bed. Di comes for a walk with me and Sam around the gravel pits and enjoys the change.
