After starting the day affectionately with Wiggly, working and having lunch together before visiting Wiggly's friends, John and Ann, in Bedford for a meal
It was a hot and humid night but we managed to sleep as we were so tired.

Wiggly woke up in much better heart and was out of her depressed state and so we had breakfast together and planned our day.
As I stepped naked out of the shower I was aroused and caught her dressed in brief shorts, a "body" and pretty shoes before she could get out with the dog and so had to drag her back to bed for a quick session before we did anything else!
Wiggly took Sam for a walk again as I fired up my computer, logged into CIX, updated this last couple of day's journal and then worked out a long list of tasks that she could help me with and we proceeded on this basis.
It was an active and satisfying day's work and Wiggly was quite pleased with her new working environment. We took a break at lunch-time and took Sam with us to find a pub for lunch with a garden for him to sit in whilst we drank and ate.
The Wheatsheaf were not doing food and the Chequers seemed ideal but we had a run-in with a member of staff about not being allowed to take dogs into the garden.
I remonstrated and got a discretionary exemption if I kept him out of trouble but, with the landlady out and no guarantee that we would not have the same trouble the next time, I decided that this was not going to be the pub for us in the future.
Back to work on and walk Sam again and then we got changed and drove over to see Wiggly's friends, John and Ann, in Bedford who had invited us round for a meal.
It was still very hot and, though I had made the effort, John was just in shorts and a T-shirt which I could have worn. They were very nice and easy-going and, them having no table, we ate the single home-made Chinese meal on our laps and drank a glass or two of their red wine.
Wiggly told them all about us and Ann was quite intrigued and pleased for her and we got on well talking about all sorts of things from Scotland to marketing.
It might be the last time we see them for a while as they are both going to Holland on transfers within Unilever. We were relieved to see our car still there at the end of the evening as Wiggly had her's stolen when last she visited!
