A good but hot day visiting the Girls in Norfolk, roller skating in Norwich and the cinema for a Disney film in Cromer.
Then back to Eynesbury to find Wiggly upset with a council decision on parking in her road and a row over the management of the Priory Centre with Chris Howes going off half-cock.
This had been planned as another day in Norfolk with the girls and, although cooler, it was still a hot day for the journey and activities.

As I did not have to get back too soon later, I took my time and made love to Wiggly before setting off but that still meant that I had the Cambridge commuting traffic to deal with.
I had left the dog behind again and so I could get straight there. Both girls were very pleased to see me and Diana had gone out but left a nice note to say I could have them for as long as I wanted.
The first order of business was a game of Cluedo which I struggled with but then we went off to Cromer where we saw a nice Disney cartoon film about a fox and a hound.
The only problem was, like most of these things, that it presented a very anti-hunting face and glamorised the fox who was friends with the birds and was never seen attacking chicks and rabbits etc.
This done, we drove directly into Norwich and joined the afternoon session of the roller-skating. The weather was not quite as sticky as last time but still hot for this type of thing.
Della seemed to have become more interested in skating and was moving around better but this time she fell over twice, including once on her front teeth which made her cry but I managed to console her and get her back on wheels again.
Debbie was getting more adventurous and was being followed round by a boy she had seen the previous day. When the partner games started, she was also being propelled around by him and he stayed behind afterwards to say goodbye.
Pity the young fools did not exchange addresses or telephone numbers! My skating also improved but I was plagued with blisters again. To McDonalds for tea and then I took them back to Horning to say goodbye.
Della got me to hang around for a bit cuddling and not wanting me to go but then she and Debbie got interested in Neighbours on the TV and I could leave! The journey back was all right even though the roads were full of traffic because I was not in a hurry.
I did try stopping for a cup of tea at Barton Mills but the kiosk was closed and The Little Chef let me wait so long to be seated that I walked out.
Wiggly was at her Town Council meeting this evening and, after settling in and changing, I went over to The Priory Centre and took my computer and papers to read whilst watching the end of the meeting and seeing what they were getting up to.
I was amazed to find that they had gone out en masse and disappeared. The papers were still on the table, the plans on the wall but even the staff did not know where they were which was strange.
I tried most things to find them but, in the end, found a moaning George Seager hanging around and learned that they were having a site meeting at the old magistrates building (now being renovated to become the new museum).
I tried to get most of them out for a drink afterwards back at The Priory Centre but they were strangely preoccupied and I was to find out why later.
First poor Wiggly had suffered yet another thoughtless indignity at the hands of her colleagues and had fallen pray to a move to restrict parking outside her house.
Following complaints from the warden of the home opposite and contact from the Labour county councillor, the county traffic officer had written to the Town Council with a plan to put double-yellow lines opposite her house!
She had not kept cool and stomped out of the council meeting and, in her absence, they had agreed to the recommendation which was unfortunate.
Even more sadly, there had been a row over the management of the Priory Centre with Chris Howes going off half-cock over some financial irregularities and not wanting the Mayor and management committee chairman to handle it in their own time.
Wiggly was quiet and upset and I could do little to comfort her and so decided to wait until the morning. She then reacted to me sitting and reading and so I broke off and we went to bed together but the bedroom was so hot that I had to spend part of the night down in the lounge on the settee before I could even sleep uneasily.
