Horning to Eynesbury via Redgrave, discussing a detailed summary of intended plans for Redgrave with Freda and Alf .
We needed the full night's sleep and were refreshed as a result.

I was first to wake at 7.30am but Wiggly put the kettle on and we sat in bed reading and drinking tea for a while.
She took Sam for his walk whilst I cleared up and did the washing up and then sat at my computer and typed up our detailed summary of intended plans for Redgrave for discussion with Freda and Alf later.
This largely done, we printed out the result and took off for the New Inn for a pint of shandy and some lunch. A hurry to pack up and leave for home and then to Redgrave to discuss our plans at 4.00pm.
We found them very interested in our ideas, if somewhat hostile at the thought of having to clear out of most of the rooms whilst the alterations and renovations took place.
Eventually, we toured the property and evaluated the feasibility of the plans and Alf warmed to these and we left them to think about them for a day of two.
They were summarised thus, "Redgrave Stores and Cottage are to be taken in hand, the main cottage fronting The Street divided into two separate dwellings, and two further flats created from existing accommodation in order to maximise the potential return from the property.
The final result will comprise the separate cottage, a rear ground floor flat, the shop with an associated two bedroom flat upstairs, and the possibility of a building plot at the rear for the development of a new dwelling.
The existing dwellings will initially be rented out but could be sold off individually or as a complete unit in the future. There will be a requirement to carry out considerable renovation and refurbishment including the outside of the property, which will be undertaken whilst finding suitable tenants for the three units.
The feasibility of the building plot would be investigated straight away and would be for erection of a separate dwelling associated with the existing back-land development."
The journey back via Barton Mills where we exercised Sam and ate a snack tea of bacon sandwiches before driving on to drop Wiggly at her rehearsals in Eynesbury at 7.30pm, just in time.
It had been raining when we wake up today and on and off all day and the temperatures were much cooler by then and more comfortable overall. I went back to Montagu Street to unload, walk and feed Sam, unpack and then call Diana.
I agreed with her that I would join her for the Cedar House counselling session in the morning, take Della to the cinema one day this week whilst Debbie was away (probably Tuesday afternoon) and also that we would jointly finance and take a continuing interest in Redgrave Post Office and Stores.
She seemed calm and fine and was content to take my call and this pleased me as all of the books on child welfare and splitting up talk about the wisdom of maintaining contact and cooperating as parents.
Upstairs to our small office where I re-installed my portable laptop computer and logged in for my last few days messages and then typed up the last two days journal.
This until 11.00pm when I expected Wiggly back from her rehearsal. A long chat together about her job and then to lovemaking and sleep.
