A late sweet waffle at the Waffle House to end the evening

We slept well on the boat but I woke up very early, my head full of plans for Redgrave. Then to Norwich Shopping and Theatre Royale and a late sweet waffle at the Waffle House to end the evening

We slept well on the boat but I woke up very early, my head full of plans for Redgrave so that Wiggly had also to wake up and listen to them.

We got pen and paper and, before and after breakfast, worked these ideas into an outline plan. Then into Norwich on a shopping expedition after taking Sam for a walk and tidying the boat up.

Parked first in the back streets and showed Wiggly the specialist shops and then moved into a two-hour space and continued looking at shops and parts of Norwich that she had not seen before.

The day was warm again and we found a nice courtyard pub with outside tables where we enjoyed our pints and crab dishes as a welcome lunch-time rest.

Then a bit of more productive shopping for some essentials before dropping into the Theatre Royale to renew my Friends membership and pay for two tickets for the evening performance.

Back to Horning for a rest after our early start where Wiggly went back to bed for a nap and I typed up this last couple of days' journal.

She was more trouble but I got her past the winning post in the end. All this left us a bit short of time but I walked Sam whilst Wiggly made the dinner, changed and got ready and I was able to follow suite once I got back for usĀ  to get out on time.

We found the evening's theatre poorly attended and a bit lack-lustre. As a comedy about cricket it was interesting and enjoyable but not hilarious.

A quiet walk around Norwich after and a late sweet waffle at the Waffle House to end the evening before back to the boat for the night. I sat and read some of the books I had bought today.

They were all about the legal and relationship aspects of separation and divorce. Wiggly was tired and a bit crochety and banged herself a couple of times in the confines of the boat as we got ready to go to bed.

She soon cheered up and we slept soundly; her in my arms.
