Out for the evening to see the 1920's musical "Boyfriend" in Cambridge

My negotiations for No2 West Street and Mr David Knight’s parking and potential building of a garage next door.

Lunch with Wiggly at The Falcon and out for the evening to see the 1920's musical "Boyfriend" in Cambridge and a walk in the humid sultry air along to a pub by the Granta for a drink.

Up latish and then, whilst Wiggly set of for Colnworth, and was having another tiring round of job negotiations, I fielded and made telephone calls on property matters.

In particular, it now seems that our offer for 2 West Street might be accepted and so I went round and saw Mr David Knight next door and agreed, subject to contract, on buying his land to provide the parking and potential garage.

Now the matter is in the house vendor's court and dependent upon the negotiating skills of Simon Bradbury, the estate agent. I made contact also with Marion Palmann, my conveyancer, and Julian Paine, my valuer/surveyor to ensure that they were both around and to brief them ready to take the transaction forward.

I joined Wiggly for a pleasant lunch at The Falcon where she did not mind meeting despite her trauma at my hands last time.

Then she was home early and came for a dog walk with me before making me a sandwich quickly so that we could go out for the evening to see the 1920's musical "Boyfriend" in Cambridge and a walk in the humid sultry air along to a pub by the Granta for a drink.

Back to a cup of tea before bed and then a moment on my computer to update my journal before retiring.

I find Wiggly such an active partner in all things that it gives me little time for my writing and reading but that is a nice problem to have.
