A less than satisfactory work interview for Wiggly
A less than satisfactory work interview for Wiggly

After a less than satisfactory work interview for Wiggly, a home visit to collect more things and a good walk with Sam on another fine and sunny day.

Making arrangements to rent 3 Park Way St Neots and then report writing before the  evening St Neots LibDem AGM

Up very early at 6.00am to edit and reprint copies of my inquiry report for Percy and I arranged to see him later to pass them over as he needed them urgently.

Wiggly was at work again, expecting to hear a lot more about her possible assignment with Agnes and also having an interview with Personnel about her future.

In the end, it was a disappointment as the letter from Agnes was not very enthusiastic and the Personnel lady was positively hostile and unhelpful.

She spent time instead on trying to find me a suitable rented house for me to take over locally in St Neots.

Up to keep her company on another work day and a good walk with Sam on another fine and sunny day.

I telephoned home afterwards and invited myself to The Hayling View where I saw Debbie and had a chat to her and then another in the garden with Diana, sorting out arrangements to join Della for a Prep School Sports Day on Friday and also chatting about things.

She tells me that she has not slept since I left and is still really unhappy. I then took Debbie into St Neots to go to the Library and back and sat with her whilst she chose some books.

When I got back, Diana had gone out and so I loaded up the additional things that I needed. I got the cement mixer in the trailer and into the drive ahead of tomorrow and a host of other things for which I had previously made a list.

Back to take Sam for a walk and then, after getting a call from Wiggly, I met her at Priory Park to go across together to see No 3 Park Way, the house I was thinking of renting.

It seemed to be quite suitable and I was keen to go ahead with it as I had already told Diana and the girls about where I was thinking of being. Wiggly was less keen on it at first as it was too dull and opposite the building works.

We drove back into town and went to see the outside of the riverside houses in the town centre but none of them were suitable due to the lack of car parking and so we decided upon Park Way and went into the Estate Agent and said so.

Back to Eynesbury where Wiggly and I nearly made ourselves late by having a passionate lovemaking session. I then had to walk to The Priory Centre for the AGM and Wiggly drove there via Duck Lane to collect Terry who had called her.

The meeting was quite a good one as we attended to the formal business of an AGM, elected all of the officers and then finished after an hour so that all present joined in a social session with drinks from the bar.

There were quite a few new faces there; including some from Eynesbury which was quite rewarding.

The walk back to collect my car and then back to see Wiggly where she popped out for some Chinese food.

The TV news was all about John Major resigning and re-standing in a new election for leader of the Conservative Party. Tired to bed.
