The longest day but the first day of the rest of my life apart from Diana and the children as I also sorted out the St Ives Branch LibDems and took Wiggly out for a drink at The Woolpack.
Wiggly was at work today and so I was on my own for most of it.

Out with Sam for a long walk around the Coneygear and then back to Montagu Street, leaving the car elsewhere and bringing Sam back to sit in the hall.
I had my work cut out; tending to all manner of paperwork and then my report for the evening's meeting of the Constituency Executive.
This was really quite troublesome, as I had little time to do it and had quite forgotten most of what had gone before.
No time to either go out to lunch or even to shop for it and so I just found Wiggly's Nut & Milk chocolate and ate most of that instead.
Wiggly came home and made some tea and then stayed there as I drove over to St Ives to present my report.
There were seven members of the St Ives Branch there and they did not like the serious criticism that I made of them; but they were all in favour of my recommendations which featured the expulsion from the party of Stuart Littlewood.
The meeting went on quite late but I rushed back and just had time take Wiggly out for a drink at The Woolpack.
She had stayed in and had not even gone to the gymnasium tonight; preferring instead to install her new filing cabinet and reorganising her filing system as a result
