We recovered from a car breakdown this morning and eventually had an exchange Lincoln which was almost identical.

Another gloriously sunny day at Disneyland followed with waits for the new Indiana Jones ride, Star Wars and some others after the "Jungle Book" parade.

A nice letter followed  from Wiggly today

We slept well enough and Diana was the first one to awake at 5.30am and made us some morning drinks.

I worked with my pocket computer and quickly got onto CIX and found a lovely message from Wiggly who said that she did not mean to grump at me but that she felt the same way as me and "me talking like that just made her feel unhappy. Ultimately, I was the only person that could change things but we had already agreed that I did not want to and that was fine and there was no point in wishing things were different".

We were planning an early start and so we all got ready but, when I went to start the car, the battery was flat and so we had a crisis!  I called Hertz and they promised a breakdown truck in 20 mins and so I let Diana and the girls go to the drugstore for some shopping and then a couple of doors up for breakfast at Denny's.

Of course, a Hertz 20mins was more than a hour and our early start was looking later by the minute. I called them again and arranged to exchange our car for another Lincoln once we started. Eventually the breakdown truck arrived, jump started the car and we drove it over to get it changed at the W. Katella depot of Hertz. The car was identical except for being white and we soon settled into it and drove off to Disneyland.

Though later than intended, we still felt it was the best thing to do.  Another gloriously-sunny day and that was the main compensation for finding the park very busy and full of people. There seems to be no time of the year that Disneyland is not crowded these days and the wait for the new Indiana Jones ride did not drop below 60mins all day.

So many people from so many countries such that even Diana was admitting that our visits did not give a much enjoyment as they once did. We just relaxed and let the girls run around and compete for the big rides until later when we joined them for the new Indiana Jones ride, Star Wars and some others after the "Jungle Book" parade.

Back via McDonalds for some takeaway food for the girls and then back to our room. I re-keyed my message for Wiggly when I got back as I did not get confirmation that this had been safely sent.
