More than 40 years, told day by day

I was still struggling after my recent illness and was weak when I met Wiggly for lunch at The Falcon.
She gave up the idea of going to the gym with Michael at my behest and instead we telephoned canvassers to encourage them out and us both to enjoy some great sex before we settled down
I was a bit better this morning after my recent illness but I still got Debbie to take Sam for a walk to save my labour and Diana joined her for the walk as well.

A good month of weather, this was when my affair came to a head and my marriage became virtually over.
Nigel's shooting incident was the subject of TV news broadcasts with his subsequent arrest being an issue I had to help with. Both him and my friend Jim were going through relationship issues.
Building work was continuing in Horning as Roy’s department store suffered serious fire damage.
With my relationship with Wiggly deepening, we were out for meals, shopping and even taking trips on Lady Martina. I was hosting my last outings with Diana with whom I was still suffering parental problems with Debbie together.
The venereal disease, caught courtesy of Wiggly, was being treated but accelerated my separation with Diana with whom I could not confide the matter.
The Relate Counselling meeting with Diana was quite a stressful exercise, but a useful one too, though could not change the outcome.
I was moving into Montague Street with Wiggly and reorganising our working space there and she was being the perfect mistress and temptress.
I still found time to work on elections, updated my phone and computer and continued to manage the LibDem election commitments winning all of the Eynesbury and Eaton Socon District seats.
This whilst still fighting the St Neots Town Council races and supporting fund-raising events and activities.
The Government is in trouble again over their decision to delay the Nolan Report's implementation by setting up another committee.

A real struggle later in the day to get the LibDem mail merge working on the database at the same time as printing out with the logo and all else.
A predictable tiff with Wiggly

Grounded with Diana in Paxton with my illness, getting better with time as Diana and the girls went to Cambridge to see her parents.
By midday, I had had some porridge and was recovering something of my old self and so kept the family company whilst we all went to McDonalds for some lunch.
It was a rough night, as I tried unsuccessfully to get the right amount of bed clothes on as my fever blew hot and cold.

Stricken with upset stomach and being violently sick in a bowl after a Little Chef meal and a family day and trip to see "Rob Roy", a long but very good and dramatic film.
The rest of the day in bed, tossing and turning, alternatively hot and cold and worrying about not being able to telephone Wiggly and tell her what was happening.
The day started quite well with a lay in, then breakfast before Diana insisted on joining me for the walk with Sam and even Della came along.

After completing and emailing some LibDem publicity work, leaving a crying Wiggly and making my way back to Paxton and a family lunch with Daniel and Isobel.
We gave Della her kite and Debbie her bag and flew the former on the games lawn.
I managed to get the database working a to prepare the letters for the LibDem advertising sales reps to use and then Diana waited up for me for bedtime.
I was early awake and Wiggly followed as I tried to make sure it was not too much of rush to get packed and ready to set off.
