More than 40 years, told day by day
On another gloriously-sunny day, we dropped of the girls to Disneyland &and Diana and I drove off south to the Pacific Coast to see Newport Beach and the Balboa Peninsula. I managed a call/message to Wiggly who I was missing badly
A good night's sleep, interrupted only by the sound of a car alarm from the communal parking area but we did not think that it was our own. The family awake and me to connect to CIX where I found no replies to my messages.

After the drive along Beach Boulevard to Coco's for breakfast, our day trip Knotts Berry Farm where we listened to the Native American Indian songs and dances and then took a ride on the stagecoach.
This as the girls hit the rides on the Log Flume, Mystery Lodge, the Dinosaur, The Calico Mine Train before The Bird Cage Theatre show and lots of relaxing in the sun before Diana and I enjoyed a Cordelia Knotts Chicken Dinner.
Diana was awake and up before me but I was still awake by 5.00am.

After staying in Motel 6, we were off to Universal Studios where we saw The Flintstones, The Wild West, The Animal Actors and The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue and also enjoyed the Back to the Future ride, the ET Adventure and Backdraft. This as I checked out my pocket computer connection
We all woke up very early with our bodies still on British time and temperature cycles so feeling quite chilly.

After a late night of preparation off from Paxton to Heathrow and a full and difficult flight across the Atlantic and the US for our family holiday in California, collecting our "luxury" Lincoln Town hire car, which was our favourite
A very late night in the end; working on all of my last-minute arrangements so that it was after 1.15am before I had finally finished and relaxed with banana and Bournevita.

A hectic day of year-end financial work with final tax and election planning and then taking Sam to the Rigby's kennels in Lincoln before a brief opportunity to see Wiggly and say farewell for a while.
Then on home where Diana had prepared an early and combined 23rd Birthday Tea for Daniel and Mother's Day celebration.
Daniel was dating Isabella his new girl friend
I had an almost impossible day ahead of me as I had to walk Sam and deliver him to Lincoln at the same time as writing up my election and advertising plans, timescales and budgets.
A working day, after the night with wiggly but back for lunch of a steak each at The Falcon after I caught up with work at home.
An evening hosting and chairing a LibDems campaign strategy meeting and it seems that we will have a full slate of District and St Neots Town candidates and may even have paper candidates for Huntingdon and Ramsey
I slept soundly and it was Wiggly that made the effort and got up in order to go to work.
