More than 40 years, told day by day
Spending time at Horning taking Sam for a good walk and then loading up ready to drive back. Boat Maintenance was still the excuse for me delaying my return as Wiggly stays for the morning before I drive her home

The family return home to Paxton and I spend the day dog training with Jim at his friendly farmer's property where we first ran through some sugar beet to try out our dogs hunting and pointing.
Later to collect Wiggly from Norwich station as we spend a late evening together as she arrives for the weekend

After walking Sam in the rain, off with Diana and the girls to the Helska Leisure, before back to Harnser to prepare the boat for next week and mow the laws. Then off with the girls to see Agatha Christie's "A Murder is Announced" at The Theatre Royal in Norwich
I was quite late to be again last night and then lay in bed fast asleep this morning as Diana was first up. It was spitting with rain again and so I put on my camouflage stalking jacket with its rain hood to take Sam out for a run and we went across John Gedge's spent pea stubble for more quartering practice.

After a short walk, to Norwich Shopping with Diana, and then home to meet Sonny Amis about demolishing and re-piling Heronshaw and Dog Training with Jim and Ben in Sutton where Sam's quartering was an improvement, and he successfully pointed a group of three pheasants before Julie invited me to join the family for a pork roast. Then to arrange with Wiggly for our joint trip to the clinic on Monday.
Today was a rainy day but I tried to make the best of it. First I woke up later than usual but not too late after a shorter night. This let me take Sam for a shortish walk before breakfast in the spitting rain and still get back to eat with the others.

Worrying rows with Diana after I taken up the morning drinks to find her cold and upsetting and refusing my hospitality. Then the drive over to Reepham to see the culmination of the hard work of our old friend "Sam" Weller at his new museum.
The range and depth of ephemera and shop equipment and merchandise was a pleasure to see Later, I researched my latest problem by calling the Hinchingbrooke Clinic and getting a shock.
I was tired enough to sleep all right but was restless and woke early. Feeling in need of some company and wanting to plan the day before the girls got up, I made some tea for me and a coffee for Di and took them up.

Horning holiday resumes as the girls had a good day yesterday at Wroxham Library and then at The Bygone Village. They also went to Winterton and swam in the sea much to Di's concern.
I took the family over to The Horning Tea Shoppe by Jolly for lunch and then by car to Great Yarmouth for the afternoon and then Diana to Mr Chann's Chinese Restaurant in the evening. This, as I take stock of Wiggly's news
Diana and the girls had been all right whilst I was away but had been made to hang around unduly by the Dunhams whose girls eventually played with ours for a while. The girls eventually had a good day yesterday at Wroxham Library and then at The Bygone Village.
